Vacation Planning with your Dairy Ashford Apartments
With the holidays right around the corner, a lot of residents of our Dairy Ashford apartments are making big plans to take advantage of the extra PTO. If you’re planning to take a big vacation this holiday season but don’t know exactly where yet, you’ve come to the right place for vacation destination inspiration. In this week’s blog, we’ll be talking about some of the most popular European vacation destinations. There are plenty to choose from, but we’ve managed to whittle the list down to three of the coolest spots. Whether you’re into the experience of a big city or you prefer off-the-beaten-path vacation destinations, you’ll be sure to find an ideal vacation idea on the list below.
Without further delay, let’s get right to the vacation ideas! When you’re done reading through this week’s blog post, please be sure to share the link this post with your friends. While you’re at it, go ahead and share it with your neighbors at your community of apartments near Dairy Ashford!
For the best mix of big city excitement and small town prices, head to Budapest, Hungary. Home to more than 1.7 million people, Budapest has one of the fastest growing economies in Europe. Despite the large population and fast-paced growth, Budapest remains extremely affordable. You can go out to a high-end meal with your significant other and spend less than $50. A quick lunch shouldn’t cost you more than $4. Even the tourist attractions are affordably priced!
If you’re going to go to Budapest, you might as well stop by Prague on your way there. Prague is more of a tourist city than Budapest, but it’s still incredibly affordable so long as you stay away from the tourist traps. The best thing about Prague is that it’s relatively small and easy to get around. You can get a feel for the city after just a couple days, then hop on a train and head to Budapest!
The last spot on our list is a small fishing village on the coast of Portugal. Of the three cities on our list, it’s probably the easiest to get to from Houston. Porto is a picturesque seaside village that’s managed to stay under the radar somehow. That means prices are affordable and crowds are sparse!
